Cooking Lessons Online

I remember calling home from university asking how to make rice.  It was not a success.  Years later, I am pleased to say I have mastered rice.  Rice is also pretty inexpensive to play with, so having a few burnt, mushy, sticky, glob-like messes along the way isn’t the worst thing in the world.  It’s when you get to the main part of the meal, your veggies and your meat that messing it up can not only cost you time, energy and potentially the entire meal, but your money.   This is why I wish YouTube was around when I was learning how to cook in university.  I bet it would’ve saved me quite a few headaches!

Learning to make something new is so much easier now with online videos.  You can pause them, watch them again, save them, send them to a friend, post it to Facebook and hope your mother-in-law gets the hint (not that I’ve done that….) and more.

I love how the Cooking Lessons on Canadian Beef make it easy to prepare a tasty meal, with no headaches and no wasted money on a ruined meal.

Have you checked them out yet? What are some of your favourite online cooking videos?
